Cartoon Network lineup change

Sailor Moon has been moved to 3:30 by cartoon network, and its toonami spot has been replaced by THUNDERCATS! A strange and bizarre move by CN, but it may just mean that there is something else coming to take the thundercats place.......

3:30-4:00 Sailor Moon

4:00-4:30 Thundercats

4:30-5:00 Ronin Warriors

5:00-5:30 Dragonball Z

5:30-6:00 Gundam Wing

Dont forget, there are also plans to include new episodes of Sailor Moon S and DBZ later on this year.

Super Manga Blast!

Dark Horse Comics, publisher of many popular manga series, is going to release a monthly manga anthology to be called Super Manga Blast!. As an added bonus, the first twelve issues of SMB! will contain the full set of "missing" Oh My Goddess! stories from Vol. 1&2. The anthology will also contain Whats Michael?, Seraphic Feather, Shadow Star and 3x3 Eyes. Super Manga Blast! will be available at newstands this March.

ADV Fansubs

ADV Films has announced that they are forming a label called ADV Fansubs. If youre like me and wondering why an official company fansubs, think of this from a business perspective; fansubs take away from the profit of official produced movies, and therefore ADV is cornering the market. Its good for the fans because and only because you can get quality fansubs without being a friend of a friends 3rd cousin twice removed. In my opinion, there is a huge downside because knowing ADV the tapes will be 20 bucks with previews.. but hey, im just a lowly webmaster.

X/1999 :The Movie

X/1999 the movie, based on Clamp's manga series of the same name is planned to open in United States theatres in Spring 2000.

Street Fighter Zero

Havent got enough of Ryu and Ken? Well now Street Fighter Zero (Alpha in the US) is now an animated series!! The story introduces evil Ryu, Shun, ryu's younger brother, and the other SFAlpha characters. Manga Entertainment has the series on its 2000 release schedule under the title Street Fighter Alpha.

ADV Films Distribution Deal

ADV Films has formed a distribution deal with The Right Stuf, who owns the rights to two of the most revered anime of all time: Kimba the White Lion, and the original anime Astro Boy. This adds The Right Stuf to the large number of ADV distributors, and is the second move in the past 30 days for ADV who just bought the rights to distribute Monster Rancher from BKN.

Cartoon Network - Line-Up Change

We've confirmed that Cartoon Network will begin showing Gundam Wing in April 2000! There are also reports that the entire Tenchi series (OAV's, and Both TV Series) will also be shown on Cartoon Network at some time this year. We dont know what they will replace; in our opinion, Ronin Warriors and Reboot, but it seems very promising!
